Observational paintings exploring colour, light, and the quiet rhythms of everyday life in Sydney.

I am a Sydney-based painter whose work is shaped by the environments around me. My paintings draw on the city’s varied landscapes — from coastal beaches and bushland to domestic interiors and still life.

Working in acrylic and watercolour on paper and canvas, I use expressive colour and painterly mark-making to explore atmosphere and emotional resonance. My process begins with observation, photography, and memory, forming a starting point for paintings that move between observation and interpretation.

By simplifying forms, shifting perspective, and emphasising colour relationships, I aim to capture the feeling of a place rather than document it.

Across landscapes, still life, botanical studies and figures, a consistent focus on colour, composition, and everyday moments connects my work. Often working from close viewpoints or cropped compositions, I transform ordinary scenes into paintings that reflect the quiet rhythm and beauty of daily life in Sydney.
